Profile

The Department is unique being the only one of its kind among all universities of the state offering M. Sc. Program in this subject. The Students are getting placement as scientist in ISRO and DRDO, State centre of Remote Sensing, Multinational Companies like ROLTA, RMSI, TCL etc. and in foreign countries like Canada, UAE, Belgium, Brazil and USA (NASA). The Department is having many projects sanctioned by University Grant Commission, New Delhi, ISRO and Ministry of Environment and Forests, New Delhi.
