The Ministry of Human Resource Development, New Delhi and the University Grants Commission have initiated All India Survey on Higher Education to prepare reliable and comprehensive databases on Higher Education Statistics since 2010-11.

The university has established this cell (The Registrar, as Convener: Dr. Ashwini Tiwari, University Nodal Officer as Coordinator, Deputy Registrar - Academic-II, Dr. Mahesh Chand Soni, Computer Programmer with other members) to coordinate the compilation of statistics of all the Affiliated Colleges as well as of the university campus. A dedicated web portal http://aishe.gov.in has been created for this purpose where the College Nodal Officers upload the data concerned with their college in DFC-II and the University Nodal Officer uploads the data concerned with the university in DCF-I. The reports prepared by this projects are accessible at the http://aishe.gov.in
