The Department of Education at Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University, Ajmer offers professional teacher education programs such as Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and Master of Education (M.Ed.). These programs are designed in accordance with the norms of the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and focus on developing pedagogical skills, educational research abilities, and leadership qualities among future educators.

Located within the university campus, the department provides a supportive academic environment with experienced faculty, modern teaching resources, and opportunities for practical training in schools. It aims to produce competent, reflective, and socially responsible teachers who contribute meaningfully to the field of education and community development.

    B.Ed./Shikshashastri, B.A. B.Ed./B.SC. B.Ed./B.EL.Ed./ D.EL.Ed.With PG at least 55% marks for general category (Male & Female Both) candidate and at least 50% marks for SC, ST, OBC, SBC, physically challenged, widow or divorcee women candidates of Rajasthan. Admission as per the N.C.T.E. Regulation 2014 through the Pre M.Ed. Entrance Test 2020

  • Eligibility:

    Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree with at least 50% marks for general category candidate and at least 45% marks for SC, ST, OBC, SBC, physically challenged, widow or divorcee women candidates of Rajasthan. Studied twoschool teaching subject for at least two years at his/her Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree Examination. Admission as per the N.C.T.E. Regulation 2014 through the Pre Teacher Education Test 2020

    Duration: 2 Years

    Fees: Course Fee as per the Govt. norms

  • Seat intake: 50
  • Eligibility: Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (10+2) or Intermediate/equivalent examination from any recognised Education board /University with at least 45% marks in General category. SC/ST/OBC and other categories, the relaxation in the percentage of marks in the qualifying examination shall be as per the rules laid down in the reservation policy. The candidate should be below the age of 25 years as on 1st July 2026, should possess a high level of physical fitness to undertake daily heavy load of Physical exercises and should not have any physical deformity or mental disability which prevents him/her from actively taking part in the Physical Education programme

    The fee structure - for General category the fee is Rs. 12,600, while for SC/ST/Women candidates, the fee is Rs. 12,300 (for the first year) and Rs.12,100/- for the general category and Rs. 11,800/- for SC/ST/Women candidates for subsequent years
