It gives us immense pleasure to welcome you to
the website of Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University, Ajmer (Rajasthan,
India) and to extend our best wishes for a mega success in all your academic
endeavours. Perfection is a journey and not a destination. I foresee the University growing fast in its
regional, national, and international relations in the sphere of academic
outreach, exchange of ideas and thoughts among students and teachers, and
intellectual interactions at large. We visualize the University to be a
borderless academic institution, offering a good mix of academic pursuits,
backed by enviable track record in research, variety of academic programmes,
supportive campus environment, attractive location, impressive performance in
placements, and healthy socio-cultural life. As the Vice Chancellor of the University, I would
like to see the University to set a trend of quality education and excellence
in research of international standards. A trend of research which addresses
national issues and at the same time is globally competitive. A trend of
inculcating high moral and ethical values among its students. Thus ranking it
among the top most universities. The purpose of education is the wholistic
development. It is our endeavour to provide an enriched
environment to make teaching and learning a rewarding experience. We
endeavour also to create a transparent, efficient and academically inspiring
environment in the university. I
am dedicated to the task of providing an easy and accessible leadership to
put management systems in place and to work towards enhancing the
infrastructural facilities in the University, thereby acting as a catalyst to
increase the efficiency of the University. I will strive in all sincerity to
motivate and rejuvenate every department, every service program of this
University and every affiliated college of this University. The University’s mission is to develop
students with the vision, knowledge, skills and attitude to shoulder global
responsibility and ethical leadership of 21st Century and beyond. Quality of higher education depends not only upon
good physical infra-structure but also on a firm commitment from faculty and
students alike. The previous years have been good for us. In the recent past,
we have been able to realise multi-dimensional growth by creating better,
enabling facilities which support an environment for all round development of
our students. Along with this, the core comprising of teaching quality and
delivery, has also been aligned to the emerging challenges of this era. This
has reflected in the performances of our students who are well placed in
